Fiesta Ocala 2026 Returns for Its Third Edition with Two Major Announcements

Flowing manes, shiny coats, polished hooves, and lovingly oiled bridles — just a few of the thousands of details that make Fiesta Ocala so special.

The beauty of the Pure Spanish Horse will once again take center stage at Ibericon, with Fiesta Ocala returning to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, from October 16–18, 2026.

Now in its third edition, Fiesta Ocala has become one of the premier PRE events in the United States, bringing together breeders, owners, and P.R.E. lovers from across the country. More than a competition, it is a showcase of selective breeding, exceptional bloodlines, and the functionality of the PRE on U.S. soil.

Following the success of the 2025 edition, which welcomed more than 40 horses, this year's event reaches an important milestone after being awarded 3-Star ANCCE status, the highest classification within the ANCCE competition calendar.

One of the most significant developments for 2026 is that, for the first time in the United States, the functionality scores earned at Fiesta Ocala will automatically count toward the ANCCE Improving Breeder (Improver Stock) breeding evaluation program.

The ANCCE Selection Scheme evaluates PRE breeding horses based on their genetics, morphology, and performance, allowing them to qualify for prestigious breeding distinctions such as Young Recommended Breeder (JRR), Improving Breeder, and Elite Breeder. With functionality results now contributing directly to these breeding evaluations, Fiesta Ocala becomes an even more valuable destination for breeders seeking international recognition while advancing the genetic development of their horses.

For two days, Arena 5 at the World Equestrian Center will showcase outstanding stallions, elegant mares, and promising young horses, highlighting the beauty and athleticism of the PRE horse.
