AMERICA WAS BUILT ON HORSEBACK
IBERICON Horse Spectacular Presents "The Spirit of Our Nation" - An All-New Celebration of America's Equine Legacy
OCALA, FLORIDA - The IBERICON Horse Spectacular returns to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala on October 16 and 17, 2026, with its most ambitious theatrical production yet. "The Spirit of Our Nation" goes beyond every previous IBERICON production, bringing together spectacle, history, emotion, and equestrian artistry on an unprecedented scale.
Created in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, this year's all-new Spectacular traces America's Equine Legacy through the courage, beauty, power, and enduring spirit of the horse.
Before there was a nation, there was the horse.
Horses carried explorers to unfamiliar shores, patriots through the darkness, soldiers into battle, pioneers across a continent, and generations of Americans toward a new future. Their strength, courage, and partnership helped shape the nation - and their legacy comes alive in an unforgettable evening of horsemanship, music, pageantry, and storytelling.
More than a show with horses, the IBERICON Horse Spectacular is Theatre in Motion.
Three major production numbers anchor this year's show, supported by an extraordinary cast of horses, riders, dancers, and specialty performers. Audiences will witness the astonishing beauty of a three-horse Airs Above the Ground presentation - an equestrian art that appears to defy gravity - along with an explosive Wild West production featuring trick riding, gun-slinging, rope twirling, and a dynamic equestrian square dance.
History will also step into the spotlight through special appearances by Paul Revere, George Washington, and the Marquis de Lafayette. These legendary figures offer glimpses into the people, horses, and defining moments that helped forge the American story.
Magnificent Iberian horses and accomplished equestrian artists will carry the audience on a journey through history, heritage, freedom, and the remarkable bond between horse and human. Dramatic lighting, stirring music, theatrical costuming, and breathtaking horsemanship will transform the arena into a living celebration of the spirit that carried America forward.
And these are only a few of the experiences awaiting audiences inside the arena.
